Violations
Audi has sold Audi Q4 E-Tron vehicles with recurring defects, including issues with the battery, charging, and vehicle performance. These defects are misleadingly downplayed or not adequately addressed by Audi, despite being well aware of their impact on the vehicle’s functionality and value. As a result, consumers have paid for vehicles that do not meet the expected standards of performance and reliability.
This class action seeks compensation for all affected consumers and damages for the financial losses and inconvenience caused.
Proposed Class
All persons who purchased and/or leased an Audi e-tron vehicle manufactured, distributed, supplied, wholesaled and/or imported by Audi, or any other Class to be determined by the Court.
Remedies sought for consumers
The purpose of this class action is to obtain:
- Reduction of the class members’ obligations in amounts to be determined as of the date that Audi repairs the safety/defect issues, or the nullity of the leases and/or purchases; and
- punitive damages of $5,000 per class member, subject to adjustment.
