Experience

Priti Majumdar is an associate at Renno Vathilakis, where her practice focuses on litigation. She brings a multidisciplinary background that combines legal training with professional experience in education.

Priti has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University. During her legal studies, she was awarded The Honourable Madam Justice Carol Cohen Prize for the best written factum, recognizing excellence in legal research and written advocacy.

Prior to joining Renno Vathilakis, Priti completed her articling at a leading national law firm, where she gained experience in complex litigation matters, including class actions and commercial disputes. Her practice also included exposure to corporate and commercial matters, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of the legal and strategic dimensions of client representation.

Before pursuing law, Priti worked as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher within Montreal school boards, supporting students with diverse learning needs. This experience continues to inform her approach to advocacy, communication, and problem-solving.

Priti is fluent in English and French and also speaks Bangla. Outside of her practice, she enjoys watercolor painting, vegan cooking and baking, travel, and running.
